Clarice Deering

Clarice Helen Deering, 69, of Emerson, died Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Tranquility @ Kennesaw Mountain in Marietta. Born April 6, 1946 in Felton, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Meril Milton and Virdell Lowe Dyer. Mrs. Deering was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and taking care of her family and her beloved dog, Milo. Mrs. Deering was retired from Bagwell and Spears, Inc. with 25 years of service. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Ralph and David Dyer. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Billy Cox of Cartersville; her son, Jeff Deering of Orlando, Florida; her brother, Milton Dyer of Cedartown; her five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 1, 2015 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverend Alan Jarmon officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 1825 Barrett Lakes Blvd, Ste. # 280, Kennesaw, Georgia, 30144 in Mrs. Deering’s memory.
