Mrs. Evelyn “Billie” Stephens, 87, of Kennesaw, formerly of Cartersville, died Monday, March 23, 2015 at Ross Memorial Health Care Center in Kennesaw. Born in Dublin, Georgia, December 30, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Belva Dixon Maddox. Mrs. Stephens is preceded in death by her husband, William Clarence Stephens III in addition to her parents. She is survived by her sons, Mickey Stephens (Nancy) and Larry Stephens (Robin); her daughter, Jo Anne Livingston (Luke); her grandchildren, Brett Stephens (Jaime), Brian Stephens (Artemis), Chris Stephens, Bradley Stephens, McKenzie Williams, Leanne and Layne Livingston; her great-grandchildren, Logan, Reagan, Isaiah, Noah and Yianni Stephens; and her brother, Sonny Maddox (Betty). Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2015 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Jerry Cantrell officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.
