Jeanne Rogers

Jeanne Gay Rogers, 55, of Cartersville, passed away Monday, May 4, 2015 at her residence. Born in Floyd County on July 25, 1959, she was the daughter of Mary Lindsey Rogers Boston and the late Robert Franklin Rogers, Sr. Jeanne was a member of Kingston Baptist Church and was a very loving person. She enjoyed life, making people smile, and listening to country music. Preceding her in death, along with her father, are her brother, Robert Franklin Rogers, Jr.; her step-father, Billy J. Boston; and her step-sister, Denise Wood. Survivors include her mother, Mary Boston of Cartersville; her sisters, Janet Templeton (Harvey) of Cartersville and Jennifer Guyton (Robert) of Cartersville; her step-brother, Derick Boston (Kathleen) of Rome; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 7, 2015 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverend Donald Lindsey officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
