Linda Gale Jones, 67, of Cartersville passed away on Monday, January 20, 2020 in Adairsville. Born on July 30, 1952 in Cartersville she was the daughter of the late Junior Townsend and the late Dolly Murphy Townsend. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Townsend. Survivors include her children, Kim Coplin (Ricky); Ken Jones, Jr., David Jones (Chrissy), and Stuart Owens (Tammy), and Gatchel Owens; her grandchildren, Brandon Jones (Jennifer), Leslie Hilburn (Hunter), Tiffany Pearce (Kyle) Jackson Jones, and Reese Jones; her great-grandchildren, Riley Hilburn, Everett Hilburn, Easton Manning, Elijah Pearce, and Eliza Pearce; her siblings, Glenda Freeman, Pamela Lee, and Roger Townsend; and her special friends, Amy Bruce, Ivey Chastain, Alexas Villegas, and Patrick Clark. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2020 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Keith Willard officiating. Burial will follow in White United Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
