Robin Gibson

Robin Lei Gibson, 50, of Cartersville, died Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Cartersville Medical Center. Born in Maryville, Tennessee on February 14, 1965, she was the daughter of Hugh Maurice Phipps and the late Glenda Kirby Phipps. Robin was a member and the pianist of Euharlee Baptist Church. She loved children and enjoyed serving others. She was a loving daughter, mother and sister. In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her brother, Michael Lynn Phipps. Survivors include her father, Hugh Phipps of Cartersville; her son, Bill Gibson of Cartersville; her sister-in-law, Stacey Phipps Brewer of Sharpsburg; along with nieces and nephews, Melanie, Hannah and Joshua Phipps all of Sharpsburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 23, 2015 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Pastor Bradley Baker officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. prior to the service.
