Roy Edward Bell, Jr., 61, of Cartersville passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Cartersville Medical Center. Born on November 23, 1958 in Cartersville he was the son of the late Roy “Buddy” Edward Bell, Sr. and the late Ruth Gossett Bell. He was also preceded in death by his close friend, Dane Vaughn. Roy was the co-owner of Associated Appraisers of North Georgia. He loved his grandbabies and always had a great sense of humor. Roy was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting, and going boating on Lake Allatoona. Survivors include his wife of twenty-five years, Teresa Worthington Bell; his children, Leigh Ann Harrell (Craig), Roy Bell III (Diana), Kim Boiles (Jesse), Sherry Kay, and Lewis Thompson; his special friend, Millard Payne; twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his mother-in-law, Alice Bell; and several in-laws, nieces, and nephews. A family gathering will be announced at a later date.
