Mrs. Vicki Temples Schultz, 70, of Canton, formerly of Cartersville, died Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. Born January 29, 1948 in Cartersville, she was a daughter of the late Charles William Temples and the late Hazel Florence Martin Temples. Mrs. Schultz enjoyed bowling and bowled in a league for many years. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, watching Food Network, and cooking. She was of the Methodist faith. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Schultz was preceded in death by her brother, Martin “Chick” Temples; and a sister, Peggy Jean Ennis. Survivors include her son Chris Schultz and his wife Susie of Kingston; a daughter, Jennifer Layton of Emerson; sisters, Sandra Leonard of Chatsworth, and Kathy Hillhouse of Canton; grandchildren, Nikki Schultz, Tori Schultz, Hunter Schultz, Averie Layton, and Kendall Layton; great-grandson, Caleb Baggett; and 3 nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with The Reverend Tommy Stoner officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 until the hour of service.
