CORDELE — Services for Lynn McKinney will be held Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2020 at 11 a.m. Arabi Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Arabi Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service. Due to COVID regulations, face masks or coverings are highly recommended and due to social distancing seating will be spaced accordingly and limited. The family suggests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Lynn passed away Oct. 17, 2020 at Crisp Regional Hospital. Lynn was born in Crisp County, Ga. to the late Baxter Carter McKinney and the late Carol Worley McKinney. He is preceded in death by a brother, Frank McKinney, and a sister, Angela McKinney He was a member of the Arabi Baptist Church and a farmer. He is survived by his wife: Twila Gillis McKinney of Arabi and his Worley, McKinney and Odom cousins; special friends William “Peewee” Clark and Gwen Young; he is also survived by numerous other friends that he cared for deeply.
