ANNIE LOU KINSEY TATUM, age 83 of Demorest passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017. Born in White County on May 27, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Felix and Georgia Freeman Kinsey. Mrs. Tatum was a homemaker and was recently attending Fairfield Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arvil Tatum, Jr.; son, Kenneth Harland Tatum; grandson, Daniel Tatum; brother, Raymond Kinsey and 2 infant brothers. Surviving are her son, Ronnie Tatum of Demorest; grandchildren, Amber Tatum and McKenzie Tatum both of Lula; sister-in-law, Gladys Kinsey of Demorest; 1 niece and 1 nephew. Funeral services are scheduled for 4 pm, Sunday, March 19, 2017 from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Allison officiating. Interment will follow in Fairfield Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm on Saturday at the funeral home. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Hospice of Northeast Georgia or a charity of one’s choice. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at The Oaks at Limestone.
