Betty Marie Maney Moore

Betty Marie Maney Moore, age 63 of Demorest, passed away Monday, April 18, 2016, at her residence. Born in Habersham County on May 18, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Voice and Ruby Mae Franklin Maney. Mrs. Moore was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed reading, especially about history. She also loved her cats, historical homes, genealogy, and horticulture. Surviving are husband, Phil Moore of Cornelia; daughter and son-in-law, Katherine & Richard Warwick of Alto; stepdaughters, Missy King of Baldwin, Brandie Moore of Demorest, Christy Moore of Cornelia, and Kimberly Ridlehoover of Clarkesville; brothers, Ralph Maney of Dalton and Johnny Maney of Alto; sister, Eula Mann of Demorest; eight step grandchildren and six step great grandchildren. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, April 21, 2016, from 6 until 8 pm.
