B.F. Wade

B.F. “Scrooch” Wade, age 63, of Baldwin, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Born on February 3, 1951, in Clarkesville, Georgia, he was a son of the late Wiley and Mae Roberts Wade. Mr. Wade was formerly employed with the U.S. Postal Service and was a member of Lamar Christian Church. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, watching his son race go carts, dirt track racing, NASCAR, football, and westerns. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wade was also preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, J.C. and Geneva Wade. Survivors include wife of 42 years, Willette Ausburn Wade of Baldwin; son, Todd Wade of Baldwin; son and daughter-in-law, Shane and Susan Wade of Cornelia; daughter, Heather Garrison of Toccoa; grandchildren, Mallory Wade, Carlie Garrison, Brianna Garrison and J.R. Garrison; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that he loved with all his heart. Funeral services will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Lamar Christian Church with Pastor Chad Holcomb officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
