Bonnie Shubert Obituary

Bonnie Ayers Shubert, age 89 of Alto, passed away Monday, May 5, 2014, at New Horizons Limestone. Born in Banks County on December 1, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Rom Ayers and Bessie Brock Ayers. Mrs. Shubert was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed puzzles, playing bingo, and sewing. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Jerry Dan Shubert, Sr. Surviving are children, Larry & Marsha Shubert of Dawsonville and Garry Shubert of Alto; daughter-in-law, Evelyn Shubert of Baldwin; sister, Edith Duncan of Alto; seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Graveside services are 11:00 am Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at Leatherwood Baptist Church cemetery with Dr. Kenneth Franklin officiating. All family and friends are requested to meet at the cemetery by 10:30 am Tuesday. An online guest register is available and may be viewed at www.mcgaheegriffinandstewart.com.
