Cathy Railey

Cathy Sullens Railey, age 57 of Alto, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2012. Born in Hall County on June 15, 1954, she was the daughter of the late James Cecil “Pete” and Beatrice Thomas Sullens. Ms. Railey was of the Holiness faith and enjoyed painting, coloring and quilting. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Timothy Dwayne Colbert and brother, Ronald Sullens. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Travis & Leah Colbert of Mt. Airy and Jeffrey & Sherrie Colbert of Demorest; sons, Anthony Colbert of Cleveland and David Coley of Carnesville; grandchildren, Courtney, Lindsey and Chase Colbert; brother, Raymond Sullens of Cleveland; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wendell & Vicki Sullens of Alto and Mike & Vicky Sullens of Baldwin; sister and brother-in-law, Ernestine & Lester Smith of Lula; sister-in-law, Patricia Sullens-Martin of Alto; special aunt and uncle, Lucy & Carl Waldon of Alto. Memorial services are 2:00 pm Saturday, January 28, 2012, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Scott Ledbetter and Rev. Tim Beasley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon until the service hour on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions are made to the charity of one’s choice. An online guest register is available and may be viewed at www.mcgaheegriffinandstewart.com.
