Dale Waters

Dale Clark Waters, age 47 of Cornelia, GA, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at his residence following a brief illness. Born in Atlanta, GA on August 20, 1963, he was the son of Gyann Stover Kent and Douglas Kent and the late Delton Waters.Mr. Waters was a native of Northeast Georgia and of the Baptist faith, he was a member of Trout Unlimited, the NRA and he was a graduate of UGA with a BS in economics and he was completing his masters degree in early childhood education at Piedmont College. Surviving are his wife, Gale Stagner Waters of the home; mother and father, Gyann and Douglas Kent of Elijay GA; mother-in-law, Frances Stagner of Mt. Airy, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Krista Kent Martin and Scot Martin of Calhoun GA, Britnee Kent Tow and Christopher Tow of Adairsville GA;sister-in-law, Deana Stagner Boyd of Poulsbo, WA; brother-in-law, Fred Stagner of Mt. Airy GA; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews and Mitzi. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 01, 2011 at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Pastor Wendell Stover and Mr. Fred Stagner officiating.The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9 pm on Thursday. The family respectfully request flowers be omitted and donations be made to, ASPCA, P.O. Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090 or Trout Unlimited, Georgia Foothills Chapter, 245 E. Water St. Clarkesville, GA 30523.
