Darlene McClellan Arrowood

Darlene McClellan Arrowood, age 74 of Demorest, passed away Friday, March 25, 2016. Born in Florida on March 27, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Velma McClellan. Mrs. Arrowood loved her family dearly and was a caring person who was always helping those in need. She enjoyed life, especially playing Bingo at the Crestview apartments. She was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Arrowood, and sisters, Mary Ann Martin and Sandra Black. Survivors include husband, Frank Arrowood of Clarkesville; son, James Arrowood of Tiger, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Arlene Whitlock and Martin Boulware of Demorest; brothers, Mitchell Luthi of Clarkesville, Michael Luthi of Alto; sisters, Karen Luthi Adams of Oakwood, Rachel Waddell of Alto; grandchildren, James Whitlock, Jamie Whitlock and Rebecca Boulware; great-grandson, Destery Massey, several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, & friends. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart. Interment will follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 until 8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
