Eddie Price, age 52 of Demorest, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012, at his residence. Born in Lenoir, North Carolina on September 09, 1960, he was the son of the late Howard and Beulah Hartley Price. Mr. Price was employed with Northeast Georgia Medical Center as a buildings maintenance coordinator. He was a member of The Torch Worship Center and enjoyed trout fishing, playing the guitar, but most of all spending time with his family. Eddie was truly an inspiration and Christ like example to all whom he came in contact with. Surviving are wife of 31 years, Lavenia Price of Demorest; son and daughter-in-law, Levi & Christy Price of Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Cristen and Matthew Rabern of Demorest; grandson, Elijah Thomas Price; mother, Evelyn Adams of Taylorsville, NC; brothers, Raymond Kirby and Ray Bryant both of Taylorsville, NC and Tony Bryant of Ashville, NC; mother-in-law and spouse, Lee & Wayne Gragg of the Batesville Community; father-in-law and spouse, Thurman & Patsy Allen of Demorest. A celebration of Eddie’s life will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at the Torch Worship Center with Pastor Mike Franklin and Mr. Dale Underwood officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Monday.
