Eric Vaughn

Eric Anthony Vaughn walked the Stairway to Heaven on August 23, 2019 at the age of 48. Eric is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Colt & Lindsey Vaughn; brother and sister-in-law, Chris & Hannah Vaughn; sister, Danette Heath. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Terry Heath. Eric was born in Toccoa on November 29, 1970 to Michael & Linda Vaughn. He was a member of the Stephens County High School Class of ‘89. He earned an advanced welding certificate. He was a Welder at Patterson Pump for several years. He went on to build custom homes with his friend Jack. Eric was a simple man, not a man of many words. He was a gun connoisseur. He enjoyed reading National Geographic. He was a firm believer in the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution. He was skilled in the Art of Bullet Reloading, weapon refinishing, and custom weapon building. He loved fishing and spending time on the river bank with his brother Chris. He also enjoyed trips to Academy Sports and Dawsonville Gun & Pawn in search of the next great gun purchase with his son Colt.
