Eunice Bell Ferguson

EUNICE BELL FERGUSON, age 78 of Alto, Georgia passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2013. Born in Banks County, Georgia on October 18, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Norman J. Ferguson and Dovie Wade Ferguson. Eunice was a magna cum laude graduate of Piedmont College, where she was also a member of the Torch Club. Ms. Ferguson was an retired Accountant with many years of service with Johnson & Johnson, Ethicon Corporation. A life-long resident of Banks County, Eunice was a very warm, caring, and generous person. She loved her Lord, family, and friends deeply. Ms. Ferguson also enjoyed traveling and all of God’s creations. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant brother, Cline Ferguson and by a brother-in-law, F. Cline Shook, Jr. She was of the Holiness faith. Survivors include her sister, Opal F. Shook, Alto, GA; numerous cousins, and friends. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 26, 2013 from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with Bishop Clarence Reynolds, Rev. Sanford Kimbrell, and the Rev. Scott Ledbetter officiating. Interment will follow in the B.C. Grant Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 until 4:00 p.m. & 6 until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2013. Flowers are accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Gideon’s International, Habersham South Camp, P.O. Box 195, Baldwin, Georgia 30511.
