Mr. Frank Stanley Jordan, 73 of the Beulah Community entered into rest on Monday, February 22, 2021 at Select Specialty Care, Augusta, Ga. Mr. Jordan, son of the late Hoyt D. and Ethel Jones Jordan, was born on August 3, 1947 in Banks County, Ga. where he grew up with 12 siblings and graduated from Banks County High School in 1965. Shortly afterwards, he served in the US Army during Vietnam from 1966 until 1968. After returning home, he went to work for Eastern Airlines at the Atlanta Airport where he was employed for 22 years. From 1989 until 2015, he was employed by Colonial Hills Baptist Church in Lithia Springs, Ga. Where he also served as a Deacon. Following retirement, he and his wife, Cathy moved to Tignall to be close to their daughter and her family. Since then, they have been active in the Beulah Baptist Church where he also served as Deacon. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Cathy Jordan; daughter, Traci Jordan Steward and husband Joe; granddaughter, Lauren Steward; grandson, Joseph Steward; 8 siblings, Bobbie Carpenter, Talmadge Jordan (Joyce), Margaret Dooley, Emily Perry (Buford), Richard Jordan (Patsy), Dayle Jordan, Gayle Wright (Wesley), and Elaine Flemming (Doug). He was preceded in death by siblings, Charles Jordan, Wilma Sheridan, Lavern Saxson, and Harold Jordan. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 2 pm at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery, 6556 Elberton Hwy., Tignall, Ga 30668.
