Gina Jenkins

Gina Merrifield Jenkins, age 53 of Alto, passed away Monday, October 18, 2010, at Habersham County Medical Center following a sudden illness.Born in Demorest, Ga. on October 13, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Maxine Smith Booth. Gina was a member of the Habersham Seventh Day Adventist Church and was a homemaker. She enjoyed talking on the phone and was very family oriented and especially enjoyed playing with her grandson Lucas. In addition to her parents, Gina was also preceded in death by a sister, Leutrelle Dillashaw; grandson, Peyton Erwin.Surviving are husband, Roy Merrifield; daughter and son-in-law, Crystal & Joseph Erwin of Atlanta; grandson, Lucas Erwin; brothers, Edwin Booth of Baldwin and Mack Booth of Mt. Airy. Funeral services are 1:00 pm Thursday, October 21, 2010, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Pastor Dale Tunnell officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.
