Jack Swayne Turner

Jack Swayne Turner, age 81, of Commerce, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2020. Born on March 7, 1939, in Lula, he was a son of the late Lester and Nell Smith Turner. Mr. Turner was a logger for Hoyt Wilson Logging. He was of the Christian faith. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers: Luther Turner, Cecil Turner, and Larry Turner; sister, Delores Nalley; daughters, Jennifer Wilson and Wanda McDougald; and sons-in-law, Hippy McDougald and Jeff Knight. Survivors include his sons: Jason Turner of Hall County, Milton Jackson of Gillsville, Todd Jackson of Nicholson, and Milon Jackson of Alto; daughters and sons-in-law: Amy and Jason Roberts of Commerce, Rhonda and Mark Baker of Sugar Hill, Regina Knight of Gillsville, Janet Brown of Gainesville, and Jackie Fauscett of Gainesville; 22 plus grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother, Ronald Turner of Baldwin; sister and brother-in-law, Lounell and Daniel Armour of Lula; sister-in-law, Johnnie Turner of Lula; and several nieces and nephews. A private family graveside service will be held at Enon Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home, P.O.
