Jewell Inez Anderson, age 88 of Demorest, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at Habersham Medical Center. Born on June 24, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Lula Robinson Williams. She was a homemaker and enjoyed flower gardening, crocheting and time with her dog, KC. She was a member of The Torch Worship Center where she was active in her Sunday school class. She was also active at the local Senior Citizen Center where she enjoyed putting puzzles together. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Lee Anderson; son, Carl Eddie Anderson; daughter, Audrey Jeannette Anderson; siblings, Grace Smith, Ernest Williams, Pledger Williams, Garnett Williams, Charles Williams, Bessie Dean, Beulah Goss and Mildred Garland. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Judy & Kenneth Bryant of Demorest; daughter, Belinda Anderson of Canon, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Bennie & Valda Anderson of Demorest and Sherman & Donna Anderson of Carrollton; son, Wendell Anderson of Ft Walton Beach, FL; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 pm Friday, January 27, 2012, at The Torch Worship Center with Pastor Mike Franklin and Pastor James Franklin officiating. Interment will follow in Demorest City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Thursday.
