Larry Autry

Larry Lee Autry, age 62 of Baldwin, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 following a brief illness. Born in Habersham County, Georgia on April 9, 1954 he was the son of the late Leroy & Beatrice Goss Autry. He enjoyed fellowshipping and joking with others, word puzzles, drawing and coloring. Mr. Autry was known for living life like he colored, always staying between the lines. He was a member of Alto Congregational Holiness Church. Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Tracy & Chad Giles of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Tori Giles, Tyler Giles and Austin Giles; great grandchildren, Emma & Alexandria Ayers; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lois & K.C. Chitwood of Baldwin, Bernice & Wayne Tench of Demorest and Elaine & Gary Simpson of Toccoa; 4 nieces; 2 great nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for 4 pm, Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Alto Congregational Holiness Church with Pastor Scott Ledbetter and Rev. Amy Reems officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm on Saturday at the funeral home. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to the Larry Autry Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 725, Cornelia, GA 30531.
