Larry Seleska

LARRY VINCENT SELESKA, age 72, of Cornelia, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2014, at his residence. Born in Buffalo, New York on May 17, 1942, he was the son of the late Harry and Mable Farner Seleska. Mr. Seleska was a retired supervisor with the phosphoric industry and was a member of B.C. Grant Baptist Church. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Seleska was also an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed carving and woodburning. Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Judith Fort Seleska of Cornelia; son and daughter-in-law, Larry Vincent, Jr. and Veronica Seleska of Bradenton, Florida; grandchildren, Brittney Jordan, Lane Seleska and Savannah Seleska all of Bradenton, Florida; brother and sister-in-law, Louie and Wilma Seleska of Quitman, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2014 at the B.C. Grant Baptist Church with Pastor Daniel Parker, Rev. Doyal Conley, and Rev. Terry Rice officiating. The family will receive friends in the Church Fellowship Hall immediately following the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that all memorial donations be made to Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center, 2150 Limestone Pkwy.
