Mary Hyres Knoll, 76, of Clermont, GA, peacefully passed away on August 22, 2014 following a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. Mary Hyres Knoll was born on September 29, 1937 in Orlando, Florida to Benjamin & Bessie Hyres of Winter Park, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Benjamin Hyres, Jr.; sister, Charlotte Kelly. Mary Knoll was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, & great-grandmother. Mary was retired from the Florida Teachers Association. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church in Clermont, GA. Mary Knoll is survived by her husband of 55 years, John Knoll of Clermont, GA; Debbie & Jim Lentini of Gainesville GA; Stephen & Rene Knoll of Acworth, GA; Keith & Cindy Knoll of Port St. Lucie, FL; Jim & Bridgette Knoll of Summerville, SC; 7 granddaughters; 1 grandson; 1 great-granddaughter; brother Robert & Joan Hyres of Lake Mary, FL. There will be a memorial service in honor of Mary Knoll on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 11 am at Concord Baptist Church in Clermont, GA.
