Mildred Ann Masters Smith, age 67 of Alto, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2020. Born in Atlanta, Georgia on May 9, 1953, she was a daughter of the late Gentle Lee Masters and Corriebel Oaks Masters. Mrs. Smith was a cook at Habersham Retreat. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Garry David Smith; brothers, Jimmy Masters, Ricky Masters, Jerry Masters and Richard Masters; sisters, Lillian Lee and Shelvy Martin. Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Alton Davidson & Betty Jo Groves, Thomas Davidson, and Bobby Gosnell, Jr. & Tara Dayton Gosnell all of Alto; daughter and son-in-law, Kayla & Bryan Deal of Alto; 20 grandchildren; special grandson, Steven Davidson; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ray Masters and Jack Masters both of Cleveland, Ronnie Masters of Alto; sisters, Judy Arrowood, Brenda Wade, Patricia Atkins all of Alto and Bobbie Fortenberry of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside services are scheduled for 2 pm, Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at the Nelms Family Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Taylor officiating.
