Morris Frank Ames, Jr., age 65 of Demorest, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019. Born at Hamilton Air Force Base in Hamilton, California on November 18, 1953 to the late Morris Frank Ames, Sr. & Orila Emilie Johnas Ames. Mr. Ames was a successful realtor with Preferred Properties. He proudly served his country in Vietnam with the United States Army. Mr. Ames was of the Lutheran faith. Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Jane & Phillip Young of Demorest; most precious grandson, Caulder Young; Ellen Ames of Demorest; Lenore, Barbara & Jane- Sisters (3); several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 3-6 pm on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at McGahee-Griffin and Stewart funeral home. No formal services are scheduled at this time.
