Peggy Cawthon Vinson, age 82 of Alto, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at her residence. Born in Fulton County on Ocotber 26, 1934, she was a daughter of the late William Bailey Cawthon and Ivey Lou Brown Cawthon. Mrs. Vinson was a retired retail associate. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Byron Lincoln Vinson; brothers, William Edward Cawthon and Henry David Cawthon. Surviving are daughter, Joyce Vinson of Alto; son and daughter-in-law, Edward Kelly & Ann G. Vinson of Demorest; grandchildren, Kevin Scott Geanides of Miami, FL and Edward Corey Vinson of Cleveland. No formal services for Mrs. Vinson are planned at this time.
