Pollie Byrd Peeples, age 84 of Cornelia, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2019. Born in Eupora, Mississippi on May 24, 1934 to the late Paul and Gertrude Knight Byrd. She was a sales clerk with May Department Stores for many years. Mrs. Peeples moved here from Fayetteville, North Carolina in July of 2013. She was of the Protestant faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Peeples. Surviving are her sons, Jim Peeples of Demorest and John Peeples of Mooresville, North Carolina; sister, Mary Giles of Winterhaven, Florida; grandchildren, Taylor Peeples MacMillian and Ashley Peeples; great grandchildren, Nolan Peeples and Eleanor MacMillan.
