Polly Ayers

Polly Kitchens Ayers, age 74 of Baldwin, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017. Born in Commerce, Georgia on December 15, 1942 she was a daughter of the late Fletcher and Winnie Crump Kitchens. Mrs. Ayers retired from Ethicon as a Monofilament Technician and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed playing on the computer and sitting on the front porch. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband’s, Leveyon Trotter and Kenneth Hunter; granddaughter, Natalie Elayne Tench; brothers, Roger Kitchens, Billy Kitchens and her twin brother, Paul Kitchens; sister, Susie Murray. Surviving are her husband, Theron Ayers of Baldwin; daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie & James Tench of Baldwin and Pam& Boyd Davis of Cleveland; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 4 pm on Saturday, May 20, 2017 from the Chapel of McGahee Griffin and Stewart with Rev. Jeff Lovell and Rev. Sanford Kimbrell officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm on Friday at the funeral home.
