Ronald James “Ronnie” Allen, age 56, of Demorest, passed away Monday, May 30, 2011 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Born in Habersham County on May 6, 1955, he was the son of Claudette Humphries Allen and the late Bueman Guy Allen. In addition to his father, Mr. Allen was preceded in death by his sister, Rosette Diane Allen. Mr. Allen was a member of New Bridge Baptist Church and was employed at Advance Auto Parts in Sales. He enjoyed studying agriculture and was an outdoorsman. Survivors include mother, Claudette Humphries Allen of Demorest; brother, Roger Anthony Allen, Demorest: sister, Renice Allen, Demorest; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services are 3 pm Thursday, June 2, 2011 at Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart with Rev. W. A. “Dub” Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow in New Bridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
