MRS. ROSELL P. BARRON, age 83 of Alto, Georgia passed away on Saturday, December 01, 2012 at her residence. Born on April 24, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Columbus and Emma Allison Passmore. Mrs. Barron was a native of Hayesville, North Carolina and had lived most of her life in Habersham County. She and her husband, the late Chester William Barron, were the owners & operators of Barron Mobile Homes and Barron Used Cars. Mrs. Barron enjoyed traveling, bowling, camping, spending time with her family and being outdoors. She was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Barron was preceded in death by her sister, Martha Cothren. Survivors include her son, Doug Barron, Alto, GA; grandchildren, Blake & Kristina Barron, Lawrenceville, GA; Kelly & Trina Barron, Fairview Community, Demorest, GA; Mark Barron, Goodelettsville, TN; Brooke & Adam Hicks, Mt. Airy, GA; ten great-grandchildren; brothers, J.C. Cothren, Johnny Cothren, & Dennis Cothren, all of Washington State. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 04, 2012 from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Rice officiating. Interment will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
