Shauna Michelle Conkle

Shauna Michelle Conkle, age 35 of Cornelia, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 after a two year battle with cancer. Born in Hall County on April 6, 1985, she was a daughter of Tina Gunn Henson of Cornelia. She was a loving mother. She was preceded in death by a son, Brantley Gunn. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her step-father, Travis Ferguson; son, Bentley Conkle; daughter, Sierra Conkle; brother and sister-in-law, Shawn & Amber Gunn; step-brothers, Cole Ferguson, Clabe Ferguson and Christopher Orencia; nephews, D.J. Gunn, Skylar Gunn, Remington Gunn and Joseph “JoJo” Gunn; nieces, Anna Grace Gunn and Abigail Gunn; aunt and uncle, Leslie Michelle & Greg Ivester. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm, Saturday, January 30, 2021 in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart with Pastor Mitch Evans and her uncle David Wheeler officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the service hour on Saturday at the funeral home. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123. Those in attendance are asked to please adhere to the public health and social distancing guidelines regarding COVID-19.
