Susie Mae "Sue" O'Kelley

Susie Mae “Sue” Mann O’Kelley, age 96 of Clarkesville, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, December 16, 2016. Born in Danielsville, Georgia on October 12, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Richard Calloway Mann and Naomi Jarrett Mann. Mrs. O’Kelley was a salesperson and book keeper with Woods Furniture for 39 years. She was a strong believer and previously an active and devoted member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Her family is comforted in knowing she will be spending this Christmas with her Jesus. Mrs. O’Kelley was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph T. O’Kelley; son, Tommy O’Kelley; and brother, Horace Mann. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy & Ricky Pruitt of Clarkesville; granddaughter, Ashley Pruitt of Montgomery, AL; sister-in-law, Agnes O’Kelley; and numerous nieces & nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 19, 2016 at Bethlehem Baptist Church. All family and friends are requested to meet at the church by 1:30 p.m. on Monday. Entombment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at the funeral home.
