Timothy Hulsey, age 60 of Cornelia, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2017. Born on October 18, 1957 in Demorest, Georgia, he was a son of Mojean Thomas Hulsey of Demorest and the late Hubert Hulsey. Mr. Hulsey was a Blasting Technician with Orica USA and attended The Torch Worship Center. He was a great husband and dad. Mr. Hulsey was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding Harleys and attending car shows. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dwight Hulsey. Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Kathy Gooch Hulsey of Cornelia; son, Timothy Britt Hulsey of Helen; daughter, Sydney Leigh Haynes of Cornelia; sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy & Tom Smith of Demorest, Gail & Mark Pilgrim of Cleveland and Lori & Tony Armour of Alto; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Memorial services are scheduled for 2 pm, Saturday, October 21, 2017 from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart with Rev. Charles Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 am until 2 pm prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
