Alvin Saltsgiver
Alvin E. Saltsgiver, 78, of Gainesville, GA, formerly of Ormsby, PA passed away June 23, 2014. Alvin was born February 7, 1936 in Johnstown, PA to the late Angus and Ruth Saltsgiver. He retired from the U. S. Air Force after over 22 years of service and was a talented guitarist. Mr. Saltsgiver was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty J. Saltsgiver, and son, Alvin E. Saltsgiver, Jr. Surviving are his children, Barbara Berggren and David Hatfield, Gainesville, GA, Betty Jo and Mike Borders, Milford, OH, John D. Weaver, Bradford, PA, Betty June and Mark Lininger, Palatka, FL, Donnie Saltsgiver, PA, Bonnie Wycoff, OH; caring granddaughter, Crystal Shenberger, and a number of other grandchildren.
