Carol Landrum Johnson, 51, of Chatsworth died Tuesday December 8, 2009 at Murray Medical Center following a sudden illness. Born January 22, 1958 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Dewey L. “Johnny” and Billie Tatum Landrum, she lived in Murray County for the past 8 years having moved from Blue Ridge. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Adrian Johnson, Chatsworth; children, Lothiaticia and Isidro Tecum, Chatsworth, Russell and Kim Cohen, Jasper, Tracy and Salvador Zambrano, Chatsworth, Delinda Cline, Chatsworth, J. J. and Amanda Johnson, Robertsdale, AL; brothers, George Cartier, Gainesville, Dewey Landrum, Dahlonega; 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday December 11, 2009 at 11 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Bobby Timms will officiate. Interment will follow in the McKees Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
