Chris Parker, 53, of Gainesville passed away Thursday May 31, 2012 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a short illness. Born November 30, 1958 in Decatur, Illinois to the late Lee and Carolyn Parker, he had lived in Gainesville since 2008. Mr. Parker was employed by Gainesville Printing Post and was also preceded in death by his brother, Michael Parker. Surviving are his daughter and son in law, Carolanne and Tony Ingram, Dawsonville; sister, Kathy Scroggins, Decatur, IL; and brothers, David Parker, Tyler, TX, and Danny “Rusty” Parker, Shawnee, OK.
