Dolores Bearden, 59, of Dahlonega passed away Monday February 15, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a period of declining health. Born November 26, 1956 to the late Vernon “Bug” and Elga Mincey, she was a lifelong resident of Lumpkin County. Mrs. Bearden was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church and graduate of both Lumpkin County High School and North Georgia College. She worked many years as a realtor for Nell Moore Realty and others. Most recently she worked at the front desk at Dawsonville Gun and Pawn. A dedicated and loving wife, mother and grandmother, she loved to travel and go on cruises. She will be missed by many and was also preceded in death by a sister, Dora Mincey. Surviving are her husband of 38 years, Ronald Bearden, Dahlonega; sons and daughter in law, Matthew and Jessica Bearden, Dahlonega, Christopher Bearden, Gainesville; grandchildren, Emma and Maggie Bearden; brothers and sisters in law, Roger and Elizabeth Mincey, Dahlonega, Jerry and Marie Mincey, Dahlonega; a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be held Friday February 19, 2016 at 2 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Calvin Ward and Dr. Phil DeMore will officiate. Interment will follow in the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday and all day until 8 p.m. on Thursday.
