Estelle Reece

Estelle Reece, 72, of Dawsonville passed away Sunday September 11, 2011 at Hew Horizons West following an extended illness. Born March 5, 1939 in Gilmer County to the late Mantley and Velma McClure, she lived in Dawson County most of her life. Mrs. Reece was a homemaker and was also preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Reece; sons, Ronnie Jennings, Doug Reece; grandson, Clay Reece; sister, Vera Hunt; and brothers, Frank McClure, C. A. McClure, and M. A. McClure. Surviving are her children, Ricky and Gail Jennings, Dawsonville, Tina Goldsmith, Dawsonville, Joe C. Reece, Dawsonville; sisters, Gladys Gibson, Dahlonega, Carolyn Parker, Cedartown, Joyce Morgan, Calhoun, Bennie Tanner, Dahlonega, Helen Reece, Dahlonega, Brenda Jean Pittman, Ellijay; brother, Donald McClure, Homer; six grandchildren and a great granddaughter. Memorial services will be held Thursday September 15, 2011 at 7 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ken Cochran will officiate.
