Franklin E. “Buddy” Weaver, 70, of Dawsonville passed away Sunday April 3, 2011 at his residence following a sudden illness. Born November 4, 1940 in Pickens County to the late John and Maude Weaver, he lived most of his life in Dawson County. Mr. Weaver formerly owned Bug Man Exterminating and was also preceded in death by a son, Stacey Weaver; sisters, Mildred Smith, Marjorie Davidson; brothers, Gordon Weaver and Robert Weaver. Surviving are his daughter and son in law, Cindy and Larry Padgett, Gainesville; brother and sister in law, Kenneth and Pauline Weaver, Dawsonville; sisters in law, Margie Weaver, Dawsonville, Shirley Weaver, Dawsonville; grandchildren, Ashley Padgett, Anthony Padgett; and a number of other relatives. At his request, Mr. Weaver was cremated and a celebration of his life will be held on Sunday April 17, 2011 at 12 noon at his residence, 79 Taylor Stowers Road, Dawsonville, GA 30534.
