Frederick G. “Fred” Blair, 54, of Dawsonville passed away Friday August 10, 2018. Born April 20, 1964 in Radford, Virginia, he had lived in Dawson County since 1989. Fred worked as a residential carpenter and built his family’s home in Dawson County. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who also enjoyed woodworking. Mr. Blair was a devoted husband, father, and son and loved his dog, Baylee. He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick G. Blair, Sr. Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Michelle Blair, Dawsonville; daughters, Kayla Blair, Courtney Blair; mother, Betty Blair, Dublin, VA; brother, Mickey Blair, Concord, NC: and a number of other relatives.
