Gayle Rowell Beebe, 61, of Dawsonville passed away Saturday December 31, 2011 at her residence following a sudden illness. Born March 25, 1950, she lived most of her life in Dawson County. A former cosmetologist and avid singer, she sang professionally for many years. She possessed a great devotion for her dog Teddy and loved her family, friends and church. Gayle was a member of Amicalola Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her sister, Janice Harben; stepmother, Katherine Kent; and stepfather, Johnny Stephens. Surviving are her mother, Aline Stephens, Dawsonville; father, Buddy Rowell, Dawsonville; sisters and brothers in law, Debbie Rowell, Dawsonville, Sherri and Bob Kelly, Dacula, Valerie and Todd Binning, Cumming, Vanessa and Jim Williams, Lebanon, TN, Danny Harben, Dawsonville; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Monday January 2, 2012 at 2 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tom Stradley and Rev. Chad McPherson will officiate. Interment will follow in the Amicalola Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 until 8 at the funeral home.
