Jeff David Bruce, 47, of Dawsonville passed away Saturday July 2, 2011 at his residence following an extended illness. Born March 12, 1964, he was a lifelong resident of Forsyth County. Mr. Bruce was a former driver for Swift Trucking and was also the former warehouse manager at City Plumbing. Jeff was a member of New Life Church of God and was preceded in death by a brother, Duane Bruce. Surviving are his parents, Ernest and Gladys Bruce, Dawsonville; brother, Dwight Bruce, Dawsonville; grandfather, Robert Hicks, Dawsonville; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 5, 2011 at 11 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Leonard W. Ridings and Rev. Lee Ayers will officiate. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday and Monday from 2 until 8 at the funeral home.
