Judy Truelove, 68, of Dawsonville passed away Saturday March 28, 2015 at Embracing Hospice following a period of declining health. Born January 19, 1947 to the late Howard and Kizzie Mae Pruett, she was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. A homemaker at her death, Judy was formerly employed by Sweet-Orr and was a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Morris Pruett. Surviving are her sons and daughters in law, Steve and Scarlett Truelove, Gary and Julie Truelove, all of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Kaden Truelove, Pierce Truelove, McKayla Truelove, McKendra Truelove; sisters and brothers in law, Doris Wright, Dawsonville, Lois and Larry Byers, Dahlonega, Ellen and Andy Adams, Dawsonville; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 31, 2015 at 2 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Max Padgett will officiate. Interment will follow in the Sweetwater Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 4 until 8 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to assist with final expenses.
