Kathy Higgins, 62, of Dawsonville died Wednesday January 13, 2010 at Chestatee Regional Hospital following a sudden illness. Kathy was born November 7, 1947 in Elizabeth, NJ to the late Joseph and Catherine Higgins. She was raised in Kenilworth, NJ and received a BA from Caldwell College, a Masters Degree in Counseling from Keene State College, a Masters Degree in Social Work from George Williams College and was a marriage and family therapist. Her passion was helping others find peace and happiness. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Jane Fenole. Surviving are her husband of 37 years, Alan Jeglinski, Dawsonville, GA; brother in law, Tom Fenole, Santa Barbara, CA; nephew, Kyle Fenole, Santa Barbara, CA. The family will receive friends Saturday January 16, 2010 from 1 until 4 at Bearden Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, P. O.
