Kenneth Evans

Kenneth Evans, 81, of Dawsonville passed away Friday May 17, 2013 at his residence following a period of declining health. Born March 14, 1932 in Dawson County to the late Fred and Idelle Evans, he lived several years in Atlanta before returning to Dawson County. Mr. Evans retired from Borden Foods after which he worked as a painter. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Full Gospel Church and was also preceded in death by a brother, David Evans. Surviving are his wife, Willie Nell Evans, Dawsonville; sons and daughter in law, Roy C. Evans, Buford, Danny and Patti Evans, Douglasville, Larry Evans, Williston, SC; stepdaughter and son in law, Ann and Clinton Wimpy, Dahlonega; sisters and brother in law, Polly Seabolt, Dawsonville, Dorothy and Phil Kinsey, Clermont; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday May 19, 2013 at 2 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Leroy Blackwell and Rev. Pierce Ashmore will officiate. Interment will follow in the Etowah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 4 until 8 at funeral home. Condolences may be expressed at www.beardenfuneralhome.com.
