Laura J. Feagin, 67, of Dawsonville passed away Tuesday March 6, 2012 at Embracing Hospice following an extended illness. Born October 6, 1944 in Copperhill, Tennessee, she had lived in Dawson County since 1983 having moved from Stone Mountain. Mrs. Feagin was a retired Real Estate Broker and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dawsonville. Laura was preceded in death by her father, Harmon Greenway. Surviving are her husband, Jerry Feagin, Dawsonville; children, Lisa and George Berberick, Kansas City, MO, David Herron, Kansas City, Michael and Carolyn Herron, Kansas City; mother, Jean Greenway, Dawsonville; sisters and brothers in law, Meg and Ronald Windsor, Alpharetta, Sally and Bill Ledbetter, Dawsonville; brother and sister in law, Harmon and Sheria Greenway, Roswell; eight grandchildren, and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be held Saturday March 10, 2012 at 2 o’clock at the First Baptist Church of Dawsonville. Dr. Jim Gaines will officiate.
