Margaret “Snookie” Anderson, 60, of Gainesville died Wednesday November 11, 2009 at her residence following a sudden illness. Born May 16, 1949 to the late Vernie and Mardell Bryant, she lived most of her life in Forsyth County. She formerly owned and operated Nanny’s Café and was a member of the Rock of Christ Church. Mrs. Anderson was also preceded in death by her daughter, Valissa Welchel and brother, J. C. Gilreath. Surviving are her son and daughter in law, Matt and Nina Woods, Gainesville; grandson, Bailey Woods, Gainesville; brothers, Robert Bryant, Cumming, Lewis Bryant, Dawsonville; nephew, Stacy Bryant, Dawsonville; niece, Diane Howell, West Palm Beach, Florida. Memorial services will be held Saturday November 21, 2009 at 2 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. John Bryant will officiate.
