Marie Micetich, 92, of Dawsonville died Saturday February 6, 2010 at Embracing Hospice following a courageous battle with lymphoma. Born January 23, 1918 in Chicago, Illinois to the late John and Anna Mensik, she moved to Ft. Lauderdale, FL in 1955, to Roswell, Georgia in 1987 and to Dawson County in 1991. She was a member of Christ Redeemer Catholic Church and was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Micetich and son, Joseph Micetich, Jr. Surviving are her daughter, Lynne Catalon, Orange City, FL; son and daughter in law, James and Diane Micetich, Dawsonville; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday February 10, 2010 at 11 o’clock at Christ Redeemer Catholic Church. Msgr. Stephen Churchwell will officiate.
